Savor Cannon Beach presents a month-long series of wine and culinary experiences in October 2022 including exclusive wine tasting experiences, wine and art events in the galleries and a weekly series of fun and educational wine tastings. These premium small group tastings give us the opportunity to share our extremely limited supply of some amazing wines from our cellar from previous years of our event. Events include:

Premium Wine Program Thursdays at Bistro: Each Thursday in October, the intimate Bistro Restaurant will host a pre-dinner wine tasting experience with a premium line-up of wines. Each program is limited to only 12 participants.

Wine & Art Fridays in the Galleries: Beginning September 30 and continuing each Friday in October, a Cannon Beach art gallery hosts a pre-dinner wine tasting experience with a premium line-up of Northwest wines. Each program is limited to only 12 participants.

Saturday Wine Experiences at The Wine Shack: Each Saturday in October, the Wine Shack hosts a pre-dinner wine tasting experience with a premium line-up of wines that will expand your knowledge of wines and wine regions. Each program is limited to only 20 participants.

Lesser-Known Varietals Grown in the NW
Here's a chance to taste and learn about some of the lesser-known wine varietals grown in the Northwest. You'll taste six lesser-known varietals from the Northwest that each won a Gold Medal at the 2022 Savor Northwest Wine Awards. The lineup includes two white wines including a Southern Oregon Gruner Veltliner and Siegerrebe, a cool-climate varietal from Western British Columbia. Red wines include a Counoise from Yakima Valley's Rattlesnake Hills, a Teroldego from Oregons Rogue Valley, a Barbera from Washington's Horse Heaven Hills and a Dolcetto from Walla Walla Valley. SavorNW Wines of the Year for 2022
This wine tasting includes the top six wines from the 2022 Savor Northwest Wine Awards. On the third day of judging in the blind competition, judges tasted all of the Best of Class wines side-by-side to select the Red and White Wines of the Year, along with the best rose, best sparkling wine, best dessert wine and the top scoring full-bodied red wine. You'll taste them all and you can choose your own Wine of the Year or guess what wine the judges selected for that honor. Price: $50 (Includes a Savor Cannon Beach souvenir wine glass). The Northwest's Best Red Blends for 2022
In some of the world's most famous wine regions, blending regional wine varietals is just the way wines are made, where different varietals in just the right proportions make better wines than single varietals can offer. In this program, you will taste six different award-winning Northwest red wine blends that are made using both traditional combinations of varietals and some surprising blends unique to the Pacific Northwest. This vertical tasting of six vintages of Willamette Valley Pinot Noir from different producers will provide insight into the growing seasons impact on wine styles and the age-ability of Oregon Pinot Noir. You'll taste wines from the 2014 through 2019 vintages and learn about the growing conditions of each year. Featured wines include two wines that were named to Wine Spectators Top 100 Wines of the Year, a Wine Spectator 94-point wine and Savor Northwest Gold Medal winning wines. This tasting of six 2012 and older vintage red wines will be an opportunity for a discussion about the age-ability of Northwest red wines. You'll taste top-rated Northwest red wines of different varietals including a Bordeaux-style blend, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Sangiovese, Syrah and Pinot Noir from the 2012 through 2009 vintages. The tasting will conclude with a tasting of a 20-year-old Northwest ruby port. Seafood & Wine Pairing Dinner with Sokol Blosser (ONLY TWO TICKETS LEFT)
Learn about great wine pairings for seafood in this evening of small plates served with wines from Oregon wine pioneer Sokol Blosser. Seasons Cafe chef/owner Doug Brown will present a tasting menu including four savory small plate seafood dishes featuring wine pairings from Oregon wine pioneer Sokol Blosser.
